Due to the conditions of some rural bus routes and freezing temperatures, Arkadelphia Public Schools will be closed on Thursday, January 18. This will be counted as AMI Day #3.

Central students raised over $100 and collected items to give to the Humane Society of Clark County, Arkadelphia. They presented their donations to Dr. Virginia Anderson.


Central Primary School’s 2nd graders performed their music program, “A Penguin Christmas”, under the direction of Mrs. Harris on December 14.

Mrs. Talley's second grade students examined bees today using their magnifying glasses. The students learned about the process of pollination and documented their observations in their journals.





Central's Red Ribbon Week pumpkin decorating contest started today! We can't wait to see which class gets the most votes.





Mrs. Robertson's 2nd grade class is researching Annie Oakley from the Wild West. The students divided into groups & used textbooks, Chromebooks, & other sources to find information on Annie Oakley.
