ARKADELPHIA, ARKANSAS – With summer right around the corner, it’s time to think about keeping children healthy while school is out.  Arkadelphia Public Schools will provide free meals to children during the summer. There are two methods students, regardless of income, can receive free meals this summer: the Summer School Meals Program and the Bulk Meal Summer Program.

Summer School Meals Program

This summer, breakfast and lunch meals will be served at the following locations.  There are no income requirements or registration. Anyone age 18 years or younger may come to eat. Meals have to be eaten at the school.

Breakfast will be served 8:00 am - 8:30 am   Lunch will be served 11:30 am – 12:00 pm

Arkadelphia High School: June 3 - June 27 (Monday through Thursday)

Goza Middle School: June 3 – June 27 (Monday through Thursday)

Peake Elementary School: June 3 – June 27 (Monday through Thursday)

Perritt Primary School: June 3 – June 27 (Monday through Thursday)

Free Bulk Meal Summer Program

Arkadelphia Public Schools will also offer a 5-day Bulk Meal Program starting on June 7, 2024 – July 26, 2024.  Parents/guardians of children ages 18 years or younger may pick up bulk meals for their children. Pick-up dates are listed below and pick-up time will be between 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm at the Arkadelphia High School Kitchen Loading Dock.  The dock is located on the back side of the high school across from the bus parking lot.  In order for a parent/guardian to pick-up a Bulk Meal Box on Fridays, they must complete the online Arkadelphia 2024 Summer Bulk Meal Program Application by clicking here. If your child is participating in the Summer Meal Program Monday through Thursday (in June) at Summer School, that child is only eligible to receive a 1-day Bulk Meal Box on Fridays which is the day the Summer Meal Program is not serving meals.  Once the Summer Meal Program is over on June 27, those children will be eligible to participate in the 5-day Bulk Program in July.
