21st Century Grant After School Program Information and Surveys
The Arkadelphia School District is applying for a 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant through the Arkansas Division of Elementary & Secondary Education. APSD is being assisted by the Dawson Education Service Cooperative on this endeavor.
Student Survey - This survey is only for students in grades K thru 8th. Current 8th graders will not need to take this survey.
Parent Survey - This survey is only for parents and legal guardians of students in grades Pre-K thru 7th, who attend Arkadelphia School District. Parents of current 8th graders will not need to take this survey.
Community Survey - This survey is for community members, business owners, etc., in our community.
Funding from this grant will be used to provide free after-school academic and enrichment services to our students in grades Kindergarten thru 8th grade. The benefits of the 21st CCLC grant program include:
- helping students meet the state and local standards in core academic subjects, such as reading and math;
- offer students a broad array of enrichment activities that can complement their regular academic programs; and offers literacy and other educational services to the families of participating children.
We will be surveying our community, teachers, parents, and students for their input, in order to help us design an afterschool program that meets our community’s needs. Participation in the attached surveys is completely voluntary and confidential. We will not be collecting email addresses. Should you choose to participate, please click on the survey(s) that applies to you. The deadline to submit a response is on Thursday, April 28, 2022, by noon. Thank you for your help!
Thank you for your input,
